melissa baer-montoro A lifelong resident of Williamsport, Melissa BaerMontoro is set for her fifth year at the helm of the Lycoming softball program and her seventh with the program overall. In her first four years as head coach, Montoro has led the team to a program-record 24-win season, mentored 12 all-conference selections, two Academic All-District picks, 27 NFCA Scholar-Athletes and led the team to back-to-back 20-win seasons for the first time since 1997. In 2017, Montoro helped the Warriors to a school-record 24 wins, finishing 24-14 overall. The team featured a lineup that hit .298 (the program’s best since 2000), scored 189 runs (most since 1995) and slugged .398 (best since 1997). The team’s 2.13 ERA was the program’s best mark since 2005 and the .959 fielding percentage was the team’s best since 2010. Three players earned all-conference honors, including Kayla Kline, who broke seven program records while becoming the first first-team all-conference infielder at the school in 12 years.

CAMP PURPOSE
The camp is geared to individual skill development instructed and supervised by the Lycoming College staff and other successful coaches and players.This is a fundamental building skills clinic, focusing on the fundamentals and skills to help improve your game in the area of offense and defense. Pitching is NOT included.
SCHEDULE
Registration - 8 a.m. - 9 a.m. First session - 9 a.m. -11:30 a.m. Lunch - 11:30 a.m. -12:30 p.m. Second Session -12:30 p.m. -3:30 p.m. Questions/Answers - 3:30 p.m. - 4 p.m.
FEES
A $65 fee is charged if a participant is pre-registered for the clinic by Jan. 31 and a $75 fee will be charged for a participant at the door. EQUIPMENT
Campers should wear proper athletic attire and and must wear sneakers. They should also bring their own bat, helmet, glove and catchers should bring their own catcher’s gear.
LUNCH
Campers will be able to purchase lunch at the Lamade Gym concession stand. Bagged lunches can also be brought by campers.

erica pooler A four-year member of the Lock Haven University softball team and a former assistant coach at her alma mater, Erica Pooler will begin her first season as a member of the Lycoming softball staff as an assistant coach in 2018. A 2014 graduate of Lock Haven, Pooler helped the Bald Eagles go 101-79 in her four years, as the team won PSAC Central titles in 2012 and 2013 and reached three straight NCAA Tournaments.

krystin montoro A Division II National Champion at Lock Haven University, Krystin Montoro is set for her second season with the Lycoming College softball staff as an assistant coach. Montoro played in 174 games at Lock Haven, serving primarily as the team’s first baseman and helping the squad to the three NCAA Division II World Series appearances. The Eagles won the 2009 Division II title, with Montoro starting 52 games and hitting .467 with two home runs that season. the clinic staff will also feature members of the lycoming college softball team
