Slow Stitching Class Supply List Class D escription: Stitching by hand can be so relaxing. Come and learn the basics or enjoy the company of other hand-stitchers. In the first class, we will cover the basics of hand piecing. In the second class, we will cover hand applique. The third class will cover big stitch or utility quilting. You may use your own pattern. Jen Kingwell has many great handwork patterns. Teacher: Jill Green Supplies:              

Pattern or book of your choice Fabrics as listed in the pattern Template plastic Scissors Freezer paper Pencil and pen Ruler Applique pins Sewing needles Straw needles #11 or #10 Chenille #24 needles Cotton thread for sewing and applique (Presencia or Botton Line work great) Pearl cotton or Aurifil 12 weight for big stitch quilting Cotton/battingcotton quilt sandwich (about 12” square) to practice big stitch quilting
