Coupling Corporation of America, Inc. is a leading and innovative manufacturer of shaft couplings, flexible shaft couplings and keyless hubs for large rotating machinery and other shaft coupling applications. Since 1968, CCA has been making shaft couplings by focusing on the driving and driven machines, and then designing couplings to complement them. Power plants, refineries, and large process plants use our flexible couplings for applications which include gas turbines, pumps, auxiliary drive turbines, feed rollers, compressors, marine applications, generators, motor drives, high misalignment areas, and high thermal growth equipment. www.couplingcorp.com
TRY TEK Machine Works, Inc. has been a leading manufacturer and worldwide supplier of quality equipment for the Trenchless Pipe Rehabilitation Industry, since 1985. TRY TEK was the first to develop and sell an electro-pneumatic LATERAL TAP CUTTER for reinstating laterals in relined pipe as small as 6 inches. This cutter is used for reinstating laterals in relined 6 inch and larger pipe. Hundreds are in use around the world in the sanitary sewer, storm, water and natural gas pipe rehabilitation industry. Recently we have expanded our product offering to include water inversion units for installing CIPP liner 6” to 18” pipe. Also, we have developed a small cutting system using a patented water hydraulics technology to cut in 3” to 6” relined pipe and even negotiate 90 degree bends. TRY TEK is helping the world maintain its underground infrastructure without digging. www.trytek.com
TECHFIRE 225 is a FIRST Robotics competition team based in the York, PA area that encourages students to pursue STEAM (Science, Technology, Engineering, Arts, and Math) career paths. TechFire includes students from both York and Lancaster counties, from multiple high schools, both public and private. The team is a year-round extracurricular activity that focuses on inspiring students to embrace working with science and technology concepts. The team is built like a small business, with different students focusing on different aspects of the program.
