Softball: Baseball:

The start of the 2018 Blaze Season begins this weekend with tryouts! Blaze is a program that was started over 15 years ago to allow kids in our youth league program to play additional games against higher level talent around the Indianapolis area. The season typically mirrors the spring season and games are normally played on Sunday afternoons with some Friday and Saturday evenings available for practice or additional games. Teams are made up from tryouts in the fall. Teams then practice in the fall, get indoor practice time during the winter and start their season in April. This allows the team to get plenty of time to work together as a team prior to going out and showing off their stuff to the other teams. NPYL would like to announce the following dates for Blaze tryouts for this season:

Saturday August 5th & August 12th 3:30 pm - Registration for 8U (born ‘09+) & 14U (born ‘03/’04) 4-5:30 pm - Tryouts on Diamonds 9 & 7 5:30 pm - Registration for 10U (born ‘07/’08) & 12U (born ‘05/’06) 6-7:30 pm - Tryouts on Diamonds 7 & 10
