SOP – AirWatch User
Note (all IT staff must read prior to creating or working with this MDM software): The purpose of AirWatch MDM software is to encrypt and ensure that all mobile devices are within compliance. This includes password protecting devices and allows IT staff to protect company data by remote wiping any device that becomes lost or stolen.
You should have already received a text message from AirWatch to go to the app store to download the “airwatch agent” Open “airwatch agent” Select “email” and enter [email protected] Input the user name and password (first.last Just4Now357!) Select “Redirect & Enable” Install the Profile A window will pop up asking for “remote management” select “trust” then select “done” Open “Agent” then select “Done” Select “Allow” for agent sending notifications A new window will pop-up asking to install the airwatch browser o Select “install” Select “allow” on agent using your location even when you are not using the app If you do not have a password set it will prompt you to input which must be a minimum of 6 characters. If you do not set a password within 60 minutes it will not allow you to use your device until you input a password.
