Thank you for being a part of our second softball season. Due to your generous donation(s) and a lot of hard work by our volunteer administrators, coaches, parents, and most importantly our players from the towns of Scotch Plains, Fanwood, Garwood and Kenilworth, we achieved a higher level of participation and success (*) as a Softball program.
How did your donation help our program? SPFast expanded to two teams for the 2017 spring season, one each at the 10U and 12U age brackets * The 10U SPFast won the Spring Championship * The 12U SPFast finished runner-up in the Spring Championship The program developed additional pitchers; a critical element for success in any program Utilization of indoor practice facilities Utilization of a local business to conduct strategy sessions (chalk talk) Uniforms, Insurance, and League Fees Team Functions (Pizza, Ice Cream and Season Ending Picnic)
What are the plans for the 2018 season? While continuing to strengthen our town recreation program and PAL programs, SPFast will continue to supplement these programs by expanding our spring travel team options to an 8U and 14U team, while maintaining 10U and 12U teams Offering our first ever winter training clinic
