Fluffy white clouds, hung in clusters, waltzed across the vast blue sky. Lily was walking home from the library as her house was just a stone's throw away. When Lily was walking past the park, she heard a chirping sound. Curiosity got the better of her and she decided to check it out. Looking around, she saw a yellow bird lying on the ground, staring at her painfully. As she lifted it up, she realised it was injured. That was why it was limping before that. Feeling sorry for the bird, Lily carefully carried it home. On the way home, it was whining in pain. Upon reaching home, she cleaned its wound and bandaged it carefully. She gave the bird a dose of medicine twice a day with water. After a week, the bird recovered and was chirping happily. Lily was a bird lover and she wanted to keep it as a pet. However, she knew that as her examination was approaching and she would not have time to take care of the bird. She let it fly freely in the sky after much thought. Her parents were beaming with pride to know that Lily was a kind and considerate girl.
