Supplies – 2 Moda Honeybuns and 1 Mini Charm Inner B order – 3/8 yds Outer Border and binding - 2 yards Cutting: From HoneyBun Cut 42 matched sets of 2 strips 1 ½ x 8 ½ 2 strips 1 ½ x 6 ½ Cut 42 matched sets of 2 strips 1 ½ x 6 ½ 2 strips 1 ½ x 4 ½ Cut 42 matched sets of 2 strips 1 ½ x 4 ½ 2 strips 1 ½ x 2 ½ My plan was to alternate square light/dark/light/dark or dark/light/dark/light Inner Border 6 1 ½” strips WOF Outer Border 7 – 6 ½” strips WOF Binding 7 – 2 ½” strips WOF Sew: Sew 2 matching print 1 ½ x 2 ½ strips to top and bottom of each mini charm. -

Sew matching 4 ½ strips to sides

Sew 4 ½ strips of second print to top and bottom

Sew 6 ½ strips of second print to sides

Sew 6 ½ strips of third print to top and bottom

Sew 8 ½ strips of third print to sides to complete courthouse steps block – make 42 blocks- please note this diagram is not to scale – strips will all be same width with centre being 2” square

Referring to above picture lay out blocks in 6 blocks by 7 rows. Rotate blocks so you don’t have to worry about seams matching. Sew blocks in rows together then sew rows together. I added a 1 ½ “ inner border that contrast with the dark outer border I chose. From here follow your favorite method of adding borders or add more square to make it bigger.
