ST AIDAN’S ATHLETICS CAMP 2017 (YEARS 7 -12) As part of our preparations for the 2017 QGSSSA Track and Field championships, St Aidan’s is introducing an athletics training camp. The camp will provide a great opportunity to develop competition and training goals, improve training technique and to foster team spirit. Other than specific event training and technique analysis with specialist coaches, activities will include team building challenges, beach games, water activities, stretching and injury prevention, group fitness classes and pool recovery sessions (Itinerary released at a later date). A summary of relevant camp details is outlined below. Dates:
Saturday 30 September 2017 – Monday 2 October 2017 Departure: Bus departs St Aidan’s AGS from Kathleen St at 9.00 AM Return: Bus from Runaway Bay arriving at St Aidan’s at approximately 3.00 PM
Cost:
Total Cost $345 Please note that places on the camp are limited. Bookings will close on 28 July or when we have reached 64 students (whichever occurs first). Full payment is due at the time of booking. All payments are to be made via flexischools. Search for St Aidan’s Anglican Girls School and select Athletics Camp.
Inclusions:
All food, accommodation, training singlet, transport, coaching, activities and use of facilities at the Sports Super Centre, Gold Coast.

The Sports Super Centre is an Olympic standard facility that has been named as an official training venue for the Gold Coast 2018 Commonwealth Games! Check it out here. While on camp, the girls will be under the care of teaching staff. It is expected that girls comply with normal school rules while in attendance at the camp. Please complete the Parent Permission / Quick Reference form and return to Miss Murry once you have confirmed your booking on flexischools.
