Dear Parents and Friends I hope that you all had a good half term holiday. We have had an action packed return to school and are by no means easing our foot from the accelerator. Children’s learning is currently being assessed and soon we will be able to tell you how well your child is doing and what their next steps for further achievement are. Non-Uniform Day Next Friday (12th) is a non-uniform day organised by SKaPa. If you would like your child to come to school dressed in appropriate clothes of their choice then please send them with a £1 donation. St. Katherine’s Parents association support the school in many ways and if you would like to be part of that please inform our office staff. Thank you. School Uniform Orders Most of the time children attend school in their uniforms. Looking smart with shirts tucked in and shoes, not trainers, they are a credit to us. A BIG ‘Thank You’ to Mrs Yeldham and Mrs Canty for running the uniform shop for us on Friday afternoons! Please would you place all new orders for uniform by 19th June. There is an order form that you can print off from the web site, or you can ask for a hard copy at the office. As uniform is sold by SKaPa and not the school you cannot pay electronically for it, so please include a cheque made payable to ‘St. Katherine’s Parents Association’ with your order.
(Electronic Payments) 'A decision has been made by the Governors that, as a school, the preferred method of payment is now online, and, where possible, we would appreciate your cooperation with this. In exceptional circumstances we will, of course, still accept cheque/cash payments. It will soon be possible to pay for Breakfast Club online using a top-up payment method similar to that used for paying for school dinners. It will appear as an option when you log in to your account. Please note that, as all receipts will be sent by email, we ask that ALL PARENTS set up an account on the online system (even if you make payments in cash and/or cheque). Thank you for your co-operation with this. If you have any questions concerning this please do not hesitate to contact me.

Tissues Although the sun is shining at the moment, and one child told me emphatically that it is summer now, noses are still dripping. Hay fever? Anyway, all contributions of tissues are still gratefully received! Thank you. Achievements Our mathematicians of the week are: Paige Mahoney and Ellis Jones. Our writers of the week are: Chloe Martin, Maddie Ellis, Theo Onimisi and Kai Yeldham. Well done children. We are proud that you are learning so much!
