NCAA Bylaw 11.7.1.1 Designation of Coaching Category. Manager (11.01.6): performs traditional managerial duties (e.g. equipment, laundry, hydration) and meets the following requirements: 1. Full-time undergraduate or graduate student at WSU; 2. May participate in limited on-court or onfield activities; 3. Cannot provide instruction/coaching to student-athletes; AND 4. Cannot participate in countable athletically-related activities Undergraduate Assistant (11.01.4): Coach who is a student-athlete who has exhausted his/her eligibility or has become injured to the point that he/she is unable to practice or compete ever again, and meets the following criteria: 1. Enrolled at institution where he/she most recently participated; 2. Full-time student in first baccalaureate degree; 3. Receiving no compensation other than what could be received as a studentathlete; AND 4. Is not involved in contacting and evaluating PSAs off-campus or scouting opponents and doesn’t perform recruiting coordination functions.
