Starting Line Up Harrisonburg Little League Association Vol. 1 Issue 3, May 16, 2017
Bat-a-Thon fundraising is in full swing! After our big event on May 20th, HLLA will be hosting a pizza and bowling party at Ruby's Arcade! Players will be invited to this special event if they have raised $250 toward their Bat-a-Thon goal OR if their team has raised $1,000 toward its goal. Please note that only players that have raised the league minimum of $50 will be invited from their teams. The Ruby's Arcade Pizza and Bowling Party will take place on June 3rd, so be sure to work on your fundraising before it's too late!

Second Base Home Run Derby is added at This year’s Bat-a-Thon
Rules for 2nd Base Home Run Derby
We have added a new twist to our Bat-a-thon hitting this year for all Major and minor softball teams and minor and farm baseball teams. These teams will take their 10 swings from 2nd base and see how many home runs they can hit. Following teams will bat from 2nd base:
Bandits, Lady Cardinals, Wildcats, Aqua Sox’s, Dream Girlz, Sirens, Iron Pigs, Mets, Yankees, A’s, Cubs, Hurricanes, and Orioles. *All other Teams will continue to hit from home plate.
