Statement of Environmental Policy We, Manchester Airport, are committed to continually improving our environmental performance, preventing pollution and keeping to all environmental laws and other requirements that apply to us and our work. To achieve this we will do the following. Continually assess the effect our activities have on the environment and regularly review our objectives, targets and programmes relating to any significant environmental aspects. Significant environmental aspects associated with our activities include: Emissions to air Releases to surface water Discharges to sewer Disposal of wastes

Noise emission from aircraft Contamination of land Use of resources Ecology and landscape

Some of the most significant environmental aspects arise from the activities of third party organisations, such as our tenants, airlines and contractors. Meet all legal requirements, and any other environmental requirements and public commitments we agree to. Publish details of our environmental performance each year. Provide information and training to make sure that all employees, service providers and contractors know their responsibility to keep to this policy and act in line with our Environmental Management System. Do everything reasonably possible to prevent pollution caused by all activities at the airport. Periodically review our procedures for keeping the potential environmental risks of our activities, and of any unusual or emergency situations, to a minimum.
