Stitch in Time Studio Organizer Pattern By Morning Glory Designs PTN1923 (MGD248) Corrections: NOTE: It is best to NOT prewash preprinted fabrics such as panels and border prints. The fabric goes through many processes to be delivered to the consumer and there may be some size variations. If you’re unable to cut the panels to the size mentioned in the pattern, cut the pieces to a size that works for your panels and adjust any other measurements accordingly.
Correction 1: Printed borders, panels and stripes may not be quite the same size as indicated in this pattern. These fabric should be fussy cut ¼” beyond the edge of the motif you wish to keep. This may impact the following parts of the pattern:
21330-69 - cutting the pockets 39356-11 – strip for the top and bottom inner with the quilt sayings 39357-11 – the quilt blocks for the side borders. 39356-11 – the sewing machines for the top and bottom borders.
Correction 2: In addition, increase the following yardage.
39358-11 button print for pockets: increase from 1/8 yard to ¼ yard. 39356-11 stripe with sewing machines: The sewing machines runs parallel to the edge of the selvedge. Increase the yardage from ¾ yard to 1-1/4 yard to be able to cut those borders in one piece. Otherwise those borders will need to be pieced.
