All-Star tryouts are: Boys - Mosquito (AAA- AA-A), Peewee (AAA-AA-A), Bantam (AAA-AA-A) teams Girls – Mosquito (U12),Peewee (U14), Bantam (U16)
Mosquito and Pee Wee Groups will be communicated by email closer to the tryout dates.
Midget AA – we will select a Midget AA team. The selection process will be communicated to all those who are eligible.
An Outdoor tryout session will be scheduled shortly after indoor sessions have been completed. All-Star information, dates, times, and team selections will be posted on our website: www.baseballstjohns.ca
All-Star tryout fee is $100 – payable at registration for male and female players registered in Mosquito, Pee Wee, Bantam and Midget Divisions.

We have increased the amount of tryout time at the Techniplex for this season
Upon selection to an All-Star team, SJMBA will collect a $100 fee from each player. This fee covers the cost of expenses such as: all-star equipment, baseballs, provincial tournament fees, umpires for all-star tournaments, etc.
Mosquito and Pee Wee All Star players will also be participating in a 6-week specialized training camp under the direction of Ken McLean. This will be an additional $100.
NOTE: All-Star participation requires a significant commitment from the player and his/her family. Most of our teams play in numerous weekend tournaments throughout the summer so weekends at the cabin must be sacrificed. We expend considerable energy and money to select and equip our all-star teams. We also try to provide the highest level of coaching, training and competition possible to all of our teams. AVAILABILITY FOR THE PROVINCIAL TOURNAMENT IS MANADATORY. PLEASE CHECK DATES FOR THE APPROPRIATE DIVISION/TEAM BEFORE COMMITTING TO TRYOUTS. All-Star participation is not compatible with the objectives of all players/families who register with our organization.
