IMA is one of the biggest producers of waste storage systems in Scandinavia, supplying the largest kitchen producers and wholesalers in Europe. Design, product development and production are one centralized part of our activities and we have many years of experience and knowledge. We always seak for new innovations and improvements that are advantages in production and for the end users. In this collection you will find products and solutions for kitchen and wardrobe. Solutions with design and function that can improve storage and create space. Head office, showroom and warehouse are situated in Gnosjö, Sweden. A special year 2015 we celebrate our 30th anniversery. Thirty years of developing storage solutions! It truly has been an exciting journey from the mid eighties and up to 2015. Our way of organizing and using our homes has completely changed, especially in the kitchen. As an example, we now have a way of taking care of our waste that didn´t exist thirty or twenty years ago. And the development forward is ongoing. An example of that is one of our great news in this catalouge, the bio waste bin MATHILDA. Read more about it on the following pages.
On the road We support our local distributors by going on a roadshow each year showing our great storage solutions. The roadshow is a popular way for us to meet our distributors together with important customers and to be able to discuss products, market and business on location. MATHILDA - a small bio waste revolution In 2013, as much as 711 450 tons of Swedish bio waste was recycled in some way. The collection and processing of biological waste increased with 16 % in 2013 compared to 2012. Sweden is a pioneer country when it comes to this and we at IMA are proud to be an important part of this development. During 2014 we have been a part of a team with the aim to develop a new kind of bio waste bin. Together with the Swedish waste authority Avfall Sverige, a research team and an inventor we have developed a unique bin that will fit as an insert in the majority of European waste solutions on the market today. In Sweden, 64 % of the municipalitys collect bio waste from households for the purpose of creating new energy. Every household gets the necessary equipment to collect its waste, including a special paper bag that will keep the food waste dry and scentless. The problem has been that people store these paper bags in closed bins, often with a lid on. But in a closed space the bag doesn´t function as it is supposed to. It gets wet and the food waste starts to smell. The trick is to keep the waste in an open container that allows air to circulate around the whole paper bag. So now, with MATHILDA available on the market, we can help create better conditions for the collection of bio waste in households all over Europe. A fresh and functional way to create new green energy.

Design, product development and production are one centralized part of our activities and we have many years of experience and knowledge. We always seak for new innovations and improvements that are advantages in production and for the end users. In this collection you will find products and solutions for kitchen and wardrobe. Solutions with design and function that can improve storage and create space. Head office, showroom and warehouse are situated in Gnosjö, Sweden. A special year 2015 we celebrate our 30th anniversery. Thirty years of developing storage solutions! It truly has been an exciting journey from the mid eighties and up to 2015. Our way of organizing and using our homes has completely changed, especially in the kitchen. As an example, we now have a way of taking care of our waste that didn´t exist thirty or twenty years ago. And the development forward is ongoing. An example of that is one of our great news in this catalouge, the bio waste bin MATHILDA. Read more about it on the following pages.
On the road We support our local distributors by going on a roadshow each year showing our great storage solutions. The roadshow is a popular way for us to meet our distributors together with important customers and to be able to discuss products, market and business on location. MATHILDA - a small bio waste revolution In 2013, as much as 711 450 tons of Swedish bio waste was recycled in some way. The collection and processing of biological waste increased with 16 % in 2013 compared to 2012. Sweden is a pioneer country when it comes to this and we at IMA are proud to be an important part of this development. During 2014 we have been a part of a team with the aim to develop a new kind of bio waste bin. Together with the Swedish waste authority Avfall Sverige, a research team and an inventor we have developed a unique bin that will fit as an insert in the majority of European waste solutions on the market today. In Sweden, 64 % of the municipalitys collect bio waste from households for the purpose of creating new energy. Every household gets the necessary equipment to collect its waste, including a special paper bag that will keep the food waste dry and scentless. The problem has been that people store these paper bags in closed bins, often with a lid on. But in a closed space the bag doesn´t function as it is supposed to. It gets wet and the food waste starts to smell. The trick is to keep the waste in an open container that allows air to circulate around the whole paper bag. So now, with MATHILDA available on the market, we can help create better conditions for the collection of bio waste in households all over Europe. A fresh and functional way to create new green energy.
