Your contribution will greatly assist in enhancing our entire program— helping increase our visibility locally, regionally and nationally. In its history, Mercyhurst student-athletes have excelled in the heat of competition and in the classroom. But it’s you who powers our student-athletes to victory. Class of 2010 Major: Criminal Law and Justice Sport: Women’s Hockey Hometown: Ruthven, Ontario Awards: Conference Player of the Year, First freshman finalist for the Patty Kazmaier Award, given to the best collegiate women’s hockey player in the country. Class of 2009 Major: Fashion Merchandising Sport: Soccer Hometown: Oakville, Ontario Awards/Honors: Started 16 games as a sophomore Quote: “Through soccer, I have become more confident in myself, I have remained true to my hard-work ethic, and I have been able to find out who I am and what I want to do with my life. It has been through the encouragement of the people around me that I have been able to achieve what I have so far.”
