THIS WINTER: Hello! We hope you are staying warm this winter! Since the last time we sent one of these out we have done a fair amount of celebrating! We celebrated Christmas with a Photo Booth, SC Selfie, and festive sweaters. We celebrated Josh Stvan's time with us, family services where our students participated in the band, and we had a blast at Wyldlife Tubing Night. We also welcomed a new intern, Brian Markley. Here are a few pictures:

STUDENT COMMUNITY INTERN This year we have another opportunity for an intern in Student Community. The purpose of the SC internship is to help an individual discern their calling as it pertains to full time student ministry - and it's fun. This year we are lucky enough to have Brian Markley join our team. Brian went to Chittenango and just recently graduated from SUNY Brockport with a degree in Communications. He has grown up at Eastern Hills and in Young Life. Brian enjoys SU basketball, buffalo food, and Lord of the Rings. We are excited for this year with Brian! If you see Brian around make sure to welcome him!
EL SALVADOR This month Young Life and Holy Cross are going on a missions trip to Rancho Grande, El Salvador. There they will be helping at a medical clinic, doing some building projects and continuing to invest in their relationships with the community. We are encouraging our students to participate by bringing in supplies needed for the clinic. This Sunday we invited students to take a card with an item on it (toothpaste, toothbrush, soap, shampoo, gummy vitamins, antibiotic cream, baby powder) and return it by February 7th. It was encouraging to see so many students decide to participate by taking a card.
There will be a bin in the lobby at the Connection Desk for the next two Sundays (January 31st and February 7th) if you would like to participate and support our students!
