The 2017 Youth For Christ/Fellowship of Christian Athletes Back to School Bash was held on Wednesday, October 4th. Cliff Preston of Arkansas led the Praise & Worship and brought the Word. Brock & Ashtyn Newsom also sang. Pizza was served and there were door prizes.
Sixth Graders enjoyed the Annual Leon County Health & Safety Fair at the Leon County Expo Center on Tuesday, October 3rd.

Texas High School Bass Association Blake Tesch and BayLynn Hemphill took 12th place out of 200 teams at their first tournament last weekend on Lake Livingston. Tesch also placed 2nd Biggest Fish, weighing in at 6.45 lbs. The biggest fish was 6.48 lbs. The tournament was with the Texas High School Bass Association / Houston Division.
National 4-H Week is October 1-7, 2017. Normangee 4-H members passed out 4-H cookies to NISD Faculty/Staff members.
The Normangee JH White Volleyball Team took 2nd place in the Centerville Tournament last Saturday, September 30th.
