All Kids in Kid Zones 5-11 are invited to join the Preschool Choir. New Round begins on September 9th. Practices are Wednesdays from 7:00-8:00PM. Eligibility requirements are in place for those wishing to perform in December. Questions, see April.
Next Sunday, September 13th we will begin sign-ups for Dave Ramsey's six week financial education series entitled "Smart Money Smart Kids". This class is offered for parents, and is designed to teach children about working, spending, saving, giving, debt, and contentment. Simultaneously, we are also offering a program for 5th-12th graders entitled Generations. This class will teach teens an understanding of God, themselves and their money—and how it all works together. If you and/or your teen (or pre-teen) are interested in taking the class, you can find more information next week.
We will resume our “Sleeping Giant Series” on Wednesday, September 9th at 7:00PM in Room 203. Our next study, “RISK”, challenges men to avoid eliminating risk from their lives, because when it comes to faith, all the energy spent eliminating risk actually becomes a barrier in their spiritual journey. There really is no such thing as the “safe life” when a man is committed to Christ and seeks to become God’s man.
We are in need of 9 actors for the Christmas program to be held on December 18th - 20th. Male and female, speaking and non-speaking parts. If you are interested, please contact Kristen Adkins.
A new Ladies Bible Study, The Power of God’s Names by Tony Evans is a 6 week study. The Tuesday night class will resume meeting on September 22nd. The Wednesday class will finish the Ephesians Bible Study and begin the new study on September 23rd. Both classes meet in Room 204.
The Student Ministry and Children’s Ministry are working together to bring you a brand new event for 4th - 6th graders called SuperStart! It is a high energy weekend event in which preteens can learn and grow in their relationships with friends, leaders and, most importantly, God. Date: October 23rd & 24th Location: Atlanta, GA Registration Deadline: Sept. 27th

A Baby Shower in honor of Amy and Bruno Koumedjra will be held in the Fellowship Hall on Saturday, September 12th at 2:00PM. They are registered at Babies “R” Us, Walmart and Amazon.
The Pinedale Christian Church Daycare currently has openings in the following classes: Infant/Toddler, Pre-K through 3 and 4 years olds. The fall sessions of Griefshare and DivorceCare begin this month. Griefshare meets in Room 204 on Monday nights beginning September 14th at 7:00PM and DivorceCare meets on Wednesday nights beginning September 16th in Room 201 at 6:45PM. Contact the Church Office if you have questions.
