Our Breaststroke clinic fills up every year. Why? Because nobody is teaching age group swimmers how to swim Breaststroke like the Olympians do. Breaststroke is the most diverse stroke at the age-group level and the least diverse stroke at the elite level. Come learn how the best swim Breaststroke.

Long Course Season is coming. The first Long Course meets of the season are only a few weeks away from April 15th. Come learn some strategies that you can implement during your club practices to improve your preparation for Long Course. HINT: it helps to know exactly what makes Long Course so much different than short-course.

If the only thing your swimmer improved was the velocity upon leaving the wall, he/she would be faster in all events. Pushing off the wall is overlooked as an important skill. However, this is the most important skill in the entire sport. Pushing off the wall is what creates velocity…the remainder of the lap is about managing that velocity. Swimmers best maintain their push-off velocity through proper implementation of the underwater butterfly kick, or fifth stroke. As a result, the #1 and #2 skills in the entire sport are push-offs and underwater fly kick. USA Swimming has made a lot of headway preaching the “Butterfly Revolution.” We’ve been teaching butterfly this way for over a decade. Come learn why kick technique and kick rhythm need to be the core of your swimmer’s butterfly development.

Both backstroke and freestyle are kick-driven strokes. In this clinic, we will begin by improving your swimmer’s kick. We will then build on top of that kick by teaching them Early Vertical Forearm for pulling as well as proper body alignment. Doing this clinic in combination with the Push-off clinic is highly recommended.
