Electoral Roll
Notices Parochial Church Council PCC met last Monday and amongst other business, agreed to extend Kate’s contract as Bookings Co-ordinator, to go ahead with staging at the front of St Thomas’, and signed off the final expenditure of St Thomas’ redevelopment as £21,000 over the original budget. We thought that an annual church weekend together is a good idea and that February looks the best time of year for it. There are 9 places for election to PCC in April this year - 4 Deanery Synod reps and 5 ‘Ordinary’ members. We also have 1 more warden to elect. Please speak to Martin, James or a PCC member if you are interested in standing. Our Annual Church Meeting is straight after the service on April 30th. All are invited to attend. Passover meal, Thursday 13th April, 6-30pm-8.30pm We celebrate the Passover together as the disciples would have done on the night that Jesus was betrayed. Come and hear the stories they told and eat the food they would have eaten. Please book through the office or the sign up sheet. Suitable for primary aged children and older. China evening – April 1st We would love to invite you to an evening of fun and fellowship with our Chinese guests on Saturday 1st April in the St Thomas’ cafe. We need offers to prepare a cottage pie or a dessert for the evening. Please contact
[email protected] if you can help or for information. Community Garden – continues today Gardening continues every Sunday afternoon at St Thomas’ between 2.00-4.00pm. This Sunday, we will continue digging beds, sowing wild flower seeds and more. Bring your own tools if you can, but not essential.
We are starting to compile the 2017 electoral roll, a kind of membership list for our church. If you are new, please consider joining. Full details of qualifying conditions are on the application forms at the back. 24/7 prayer at All Saints, 250 Lyham Road, SW2 5NP All Saints are again hosting a week of 24/7 prayer.
