It is a joy to welcome Trevor with us, a good friend of WBC. Trevor will be sharing with us about a controversy within the early Church which was settled at the Council of Jerusalem. He will also be looking at how this ruling effects us.

Christians in Politics will be hosting a series of 'conversations' on the upcoming EU Referendum.

Winchester Cathedral When: 31st May, 19:00-20:30 Where: Nave of Winchester Cathedral
100 years ago… 100 years ago this week (May 31st—June 1st) the Battle of Jutland took place. This was the largest Navel battle in WWI and members of our congregation had father who fought in it. The total loss of life was 9,823 men, of which the British losses were 6,784 and German losses were 3,039. This scale of loss happens all around our world even today, through war and through other reasons such as hunger. This week, pray for the peace of the world around us, that the catastrophic loss of live that was experience in Jutland may never be repeated. As a Christian people, let us commit to: ‘Administer true justice; show mercy and
compassion to one another. 10 Do not oppress the widow or the fatherless, the foreigner or the poor. Do not plot evil against each other.’ Zech 7
Church Family Prayer Time Andover Foodbank 10k run. As part of our 10th Anniversary celebrations we are holding a fundraising 10k and 3k fun run on Sunday 18th September 2016. The run will start at Charlton Sports Centre The organisers are aiming to raise £10k from the 10k run. The foodbank hopes to have up to a 1000 runners including regular run competitors as well as those wanting to have fun and raise money for a good cause. This Thursday, 2nd June, we will be praying together as a church family. It’ a place of support and love as well as a time to bring many things to God in Prayer. Back room, 7:45pm.
