ANNOUNCEMENTS & EVENTS The Lord’s Supper will be observed today in both worship services. A Benevolent Offering will be taken at the doors at the close of each worship service. Being Still and Knowing God Seminar with Terry Ellis (former FBC pastor) will be Wednesday, May 31 at 6:00 pm in the chapel. Everyone is invited to come and hear how research indicates that God changes our brain through prayer and meditation on Him and His Word. After the seminar, Terry will be available in the church library to sign his book GraceWaves. Employment Opportunity: FBC Mother’s Day Out Director. This position oversees our Tuesday-Thursday state accredited preschool. Job description and application are available on the church website or in the church office. All applications must be turned in by May 31, 2017. Contact Jeremy Hudgin for any additional questions or information. Church Lake Fellowship is planned for Sunday, June 4 from 5:00 to 8:00 pm at the Kentucky Lake Pavillion. Come join us for an evening of food, fellowship and games. FBC is providing the dinner; bring your favorite dessert. There will be games for all ages, so bring a lawn chair and come and enjoy the evening.

Galactic Starveyors - Vacation Bible School will be June 19-22 from 5:00 to 8:00 pm nightly. Make plans to join us for VBS this summer. Kids 3 years old through 5th grade (graded classes set by the grade they just finished this school year) are invited to attend. Supper provided nightly for all ages. Contact Melissa to volunteer to help or for more information. Join us for Vacation Bible School June 18-22
LifeHouse Baby Bottle Campaign - baby bottles are available today in the Welcome Center. Return them on Father’s Day filled with your donations of coins, cash or checks. FUGE Camp Parent Meeting - This is a mandatory meeting for all parents of students going to FUGE. You must attend either on June 11 or June 25. Both meetings will be held at Central Park at the city pool at 5:00 pm. There will be forms to complete in the presence of a notary; fees will be due. More details about camp week will also be discussed. Sponsors are needed to help send students to Fuge Camp at Union University June 26 to July 1. The cost is $325 per student; any help is appreciated. Contact Jon Kyle for more information. Needline - There is a collection box located in the Welcome Center for nonperishable food items to be donated to Needline. For the month of June we are collecting canned salmon.
