WEDNESDAY NIGHT PROGRAMMING Starting this Wednesday, September 21st, we will begin our new Fall Program. Come and be part of our evening activities where you will find food, fun and faith development. The evening will begin with a light family meal at 5:45pm, then at 6:30pm there will be programs for all ages. First Baptist will be holding several fundraisers during the Mountain State Forest Festival on Friday and Saturday, October 7th and 8th. There are various opportunities to volunteer: •helping park cars •setting-up parade chairs •working the concession booth to sell hotdogs, Nacho's, cookies, brownies, drinks and other items • baking cookies or brownies for the sale • taking down the parade chairs and returning them to the church This is our biggest fundraiser of the year, so prayerfully consider how you can contribute. Sign-up sheets are located on the tables in the front hallway. PARADE CHAIRS AND PARKING SPACES We are also taking orders for Forest Festival parade chairs and parking, but there are only a few spaces available. Call the office (304-636-3448) for reservations. YARD SALE ITEMS Also, Tuesday, September 20th will be the last day to purchase yard sale items in the gymnasium. Everything must go and has been reduced. All proceeds will go towards church improvements and special projects.
