How do I conserve the internal battery of the PowerWatch Voltage Disturbance Recorder? To help conserve the internal battery of the PowerWatch, it is advisable to leave the unit plugged into AC power when it is not in use. If this is not possible and you wish to store the unit unplugged, disable the “Flash When Events Captured” function in the software setup and save the setup to the logger. This will prevent the logger from flashing its LED indefinitely while it is in storage, thus conserving battery power.
