Surrey Street Primary School Family Room Newsletter Spring Term 2016 ACTIVE FIT CLASSES We are pleased to announce that our Active Fit classes will be continuing until
the end of the summer term.
Theses classes will take place in the family room every Thursday from9.45 to 10.45. Each session is £1 and can be paid on attendance.
Breakfast club Places for breakfast club must be booked and payed for in advance so we have a clear idea of how many children are attending and how much food needs to be prepared. The gates will open at 8.00am and close at 8.10am please ensure your child is escorted to the office promptly as late comers will not be able to access breakfast club.
A crèche is available and MUST be booked in advance. Please visit the family room if you have any questions or queries Fun with food

Our very popular Fun with Food course is due to start soon!! What's involved: Joint adult and child sessions. Find out what a balanced diet should look like.
Learn about the different food groups and their importance to a
healthy diet.
Enjoy preparing food with your child
Time to find out about next step opportunities.
Developing confidence and self-esteem.
Parent and child well-being.
The course and the crèche are both free. More information on this course will be given closer to
the time.

ESOL / English Classes Well done to all our current ESOL students who will be going onto furthering their speaking and listening skills. If you would like to enrol in our current level 2/3 ESOL class. Please visit the family room for more information.
Our stay and play session will be running as usual every Friday from 2.30pm to 3.30pm.
Our stay and play is open to parents and carers with children at 0 to pre school age. Come along for some fun. Refreshments and fruit will be available as well as tea and coffee for parents and carers.
