Suzanne Kessler
January 1, 1945, to April 19, 2013
Suzanne Kessler, a 32-year Tracy resident, born in Weymouth, Massachusetts, went home to be with her Lord and Savior on April 19th, 2013. She was at home with her family by her side. Suzanne was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, sister, aunt and friend to all. She is survived by her husband of 49 years, Denman Kessler; their daughter, Wendy Froiland; and her beloved grandchildren, Trent Kessler Gronow & Alyssa Suzanne Froiland. She is also survived by her older brother, Scott Freeman of Orlando, Florida; younger sister, Cheryl “Cherri” Ignatowski of Tracy; and in-laws, Eugene & Reba Kessler of Ocala, Florida. Her parents, Arthur & Avis Freeman, preceded her in death. Suzanne was a member of St. Paul’s Lutheran Church, loved by many and very active in her community. Known lovingly to many as “Mimi,” she was very active with the Tracy Tritons, her grandchildren’s swim team, for which she created certificates and took many photos for families and the Tracy Press. She was also very involved in fundraisers for South/West Park School, creating “student of the month” buttons for the children. She fostered kittens, enjoyed scrapbooking and had many talents and gifts that she lovingly shared with family and friends. Fry Memorial Chapel is honored to serve the Kessler family. A celebration of Suzanne’s life will begin at 11:30 a.m. Thursday, April 25th, at St Paul’s Lutheran Church, 1635 Chester Drive. Interment will be private. In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made to St. Paul’s Lutheran Church.
