Formal Recruitment!!! As we wrap up the spring semester at WSU, It is finally nice and warm in Pullman and I hope you all have exciting and fun things planned for the summer! I am writing to invite you to two very important and exciting events: Work week takes place the week before Greek formal recruitment at WSU, and it entails a lot of work from sorority members, their parents, and alumnae to get our beautiful home into good shape to welcome potential new members. There are quite a few chores to be done such as window and sill washing, ironing, wall dusting, furniture polishing, crystal chandelier polishing, table touchups, lamp post painting, and possibly making lunch for the girls. The results of this week really show off our pride during recruitment, and any bit of effort is a HUGE help! Recruitment Week involves 6 days when our members show off our values and sisterhood to over 900 amazing prospective Sigma Kappa members. It takes outstanding members to keep this week organized and running smoothly; it is the biggest week of the year to show what a great chapter we are and to help younger women find their home away from home. We are hoping to recruit an amazing group of women, and could definitely use your help! Things to help out this week would be: preparing beverages to serve to guests, setting up desserts for Preference Day, washing dishes, straightening tables, or even sweeping the front steps. It is a crazy busy week, but we would love your involvement in this crucial process for our chapter. Additionally, with a slightly smaller recruiting force than previous years, every helping hand can make a huge difference during this week. If you think you can help out with any of this fun, please send me an email so that I can plan tasks and work groups to be as efficient as possible! If you can’t help in person, another great way to send us Sigma love is by donating flower arrangements (small is perfect) for the week! Thank you so much! Order of the Triangle The end of the school year in Pullman is always bittersweet; it's exciting to go home and relax, but no one really wants to leave. This year we had to say goodbye to 38 amazing members as they leave Pullman and start their lives. The ceremony was on Saturday, April 25th and it was refreshing after a long year to see how much Sigma Kappa impacts its members. Alpha Gamma would love to congratulate the following members for going through Order of the Triangle: Lauren Balsamo Sammy Beiler Clarice Cohn Elizabeth Dellinger Hannah Fisher Kelly Forsyth Claire Godbout Natalie Hendry Adair Millard Kaitlyn Neighbours Akasha Ondo Hannah Petersen Nicole Ponton Janae Rame Joanna Ross Emily Satran Kelsey Selstead Sadie Shattuck Rachel Werner

Sara Behrmann Stephanie Chahan Marissa Cuevas Kristin Falenski Haley Fiske Rachel Galasso Kendra Hansen Tara Kollman Allie Misner Audrey Nordness Ashley Penhollow Giuliana Plut Gena Ragsdale Amber Riller Nicole Roush Christina Sells Caitlin Shaffer Alexandra Vaughn Kaitlyn White

We have loved getting to know all of them and seeing them grow throughout their time in Sigma Kappa, and we can't wait to see what they do next. Remember: it's not just four years, it's for life.

Greek Week This year Greek Week was from March 22nd to the 26th and we were paired with Kappa Sigma and a newly colonized chapter of Sigma Tau Gamma. The theme of the week was Disney, and each team was a Disney or Pixar movie; we were Alice in Wonderland. The week consisted of opening ceremonies, a barbeque, Lipsync, and house decorating. The members of the Greek Week executive council utilized social media platforms, including Facebook and Twitter to spread the word about events and placements. We had such a great time throughout the entire week!
