Early Bird Shake Serves 2

Ingredients      

12 oz. unsweetened coconut milk or your favorite substitute ½ avocado 1 cup spinach ½ apple 1 banana 2 – 6 ice cubes (to get your desired consistency)

Directions 1. Combine all ingredients and blend until smooth

Tips  Investing in a robust blender will reward you with velvety shakes even when using leafy greens as ingredients.  Try using a scoop of nut butter instead of protein powder or low glycemic meal replacement mix for a nutty twist.  Use 6 oz. of water and 6 oz. of milk or milk substitute.
