From: Charles K. Brown, Fundraising Coordinator, Temecula Little League      Temecula Little League is proud to announce the Second Annual Temecula Little League Golf  Scramble.  This year’s event will be held on Friday, March 17th, 2017, at Cross Creek Golf Course in  Temecula, California.  Our mission is to promote, develop, supervise, and voluntarily assist in all lawful  ways, the interest of those who will participate in Little League Baseball and Softball. Through proper  guidance and exemplary leadership, the Little League program assists youth in developing the qualities  of citizenship, discipline, teamwork and physical wellbeing. By espousing the virtues of character,  courage and loyalty, the Little League Baseball program is designed to develop superior citizens rather  than superior athletes.      Funds generated by our golf tournament will be directly applied to the development of local  youth athletes who would be otherwise unable to experience the travel and excitement of competitive  baseball.  Most immediately, funds will go directly toward supplying our 50 selected All‐Star players with  a special uniform for Post Season tournaments in June/July 2017.  We understand that you have many  requests each year for charitable donations and team sponsorships and are thankful that you are  considering sponsoring our organization.   For the past two years, our players have won the AA and AAA  Tournament of Champion title for Little League District 28, as well as won the 10/11 Year Old All Star  Champion title.  We could not have obtained these accomplishments without the support of local  businesses and sponsors.    Our players truly excel at the game of baseball and live in the cities of Murrieta and Temecula.   Our organization includes 40 teams, with players ranging from ages 4‐14 with approximately 500  families in our organization.      As an organization, we must pay for uniforms, insurance, practice fields, lights, umpires, travel  expenses, tournament fees, league fees and equipment. These costs can ultimately prevent otherwise  worthy kids from playing a sport they love.  That is why we need support from our local communities  and businesses like yours.    We appreciate any contribution that your business can make to our organization. Our Tax ID No.  is 41‐2154896. Our players and the coaching staff look forward to proudly representing your business  for the 2016 season.  For more information please check out our website at  www.temeculalittleleague.com, or contact me directly.    I thank you for your time and consideration in this matter.  We welcome the opportunity to invite you to  take part in the world’s largest non‐profit youth organization.      Temecula Little League  27475 Ynez Rd. #634   Temecula, California 92591  Contact: Charles Brown (619) 309‐9388  [email protected]  Tax ID No. is 41‐2154896
