Met with legislator and/or staffer in Representative Krause, Coleman, Oliverson, Phillips and Burkett regarding school nursing legislation. o Testified before Senate Health & Human Services Committee and House Public Education Committee in support of Spinal Screening Bill SB 850 and HB 1076. o Attended Advocacy Committee conference-call meetings, created advocacy flyers and membership Legislative Bill Tracker Report. Replied and made numerous phone calls and sent emails relating to school nursing legislation. o Contributed to TSNO Newsletter. o Submitted my candidacy for TSNO election ballot - NASN TX Director.
