Civil Engineering Faculty Workshop 2016 ADSC's Industry Advancement Fund Needs Your Support In June 2016, the ADSC will be conducting its Civil Engineering Faculty Workshop for the top civil engineering professors in the U.S. and Canada. This workshops has been held in 1987, 2000 and 2008, and has become the standard by which such programs are judged, and more importantly, they resulted in nearly a quarter of a million civil engineering students being taught about drilled foundations, anchored earth retention systems and micropiles.

Here's How it Works ♦

Engineers design systems that they know and with which they are comfortable

♦ The ADSC's Civil Engineering Workshop teaches the best and the brightest professors the latest information in the industry

The ADSC Industry Advancement Fund supports this workshop outside of our normal revenue stream. Frankly, to bring together the best instructors to serve as Workshop Faculty and to bring the best and the brightest young professors as students is costly. The ADSC's Southeast Chapter has already committed to providing the extensive field demonstrations planned as a part of the workshop. This generous contribution of time, equipment and personnel helps make the Civil Engineering Faculty Workshop 2016 possible.

Now it's time for all of us to make our fully tax deductible contributions. We recommend the following levels of giving over a two-year period:

The positive impact of the previous three workshops cannot be overstated. We believe that there is a direct correlation between the success the drilled foundation industry has experienced over the last 25 years and these workshops. The very people who are recommending and designing drilled foundation, anchored earth retention systems and micropiles are the ones who were taught by the attendees of the 1987, 2000 and 2008 workshops. This situation will only improve with the Civil Engineering Faculty Workshop 2016.
