The Tennessee Housing Development Agency is pleased to announce that it will host application workshops for the 2018 HOME program in each of the Grand Divisions. HOME funds are awarded through a competitive application process to cities, counties and non-profit organizations outside the local participating jurisdictions of Clarksville, Chattanooga, Jackson, Knoxville, Memphis, Knox County, Nashville-Davidson County, Shelby County, and the Northeast Tennessee/Virginia Consortium (Bluff City, Bristol, Johnson City, Kingsport, Sullivan County and Washington County). HOME funds are also awarded to Community Housing Development Organizations (CHDOs) designated by the State working in any community across Tennessee. All three workshops will be held at 9AM-Noon Local Time at the following locations and dates:

The Program Description and Application will also be available on the THDA website at www.thda.org under Business Partners, Grant Administrators, HOME Program as of January 15, 2018. Applications for the HOME program will be due in the Community Programs Office, 502 Deaderick St, Nashville, TN 37243 no later than 4:00 PM CST March 8, 2018.

Page 2 THDA anticipates notifying successful applicants in late May, 2018 with contracts effective July 1, 2018. However, the awarding of the 2018 HOME funding is subject to the announcement of the 2018 HOME allocation by HUD, and HUD approval of the 2018 Action Plan. THDA will not be able to issue 2018 HOME contracts as of July 1, 2018 if the 2018 Action Plan has not been approved by HUD.
