Is ASU’s all-time winningest Women’s Basketball Coach, a former Hornet team captain, graduate assistant and assistant coach who helped guide the Lady Hornets to the 1989 Southwestern Athletic Conference Tournament Championship. The Lady Hornets won BACK-to-BACK SWAC Tournament Championships in 2015 and 2016, which earned them the first 15th seed in the history of the SWAC in their appearances in the NCAA Tournament each time. As ASU’s women basketball coach, Coach Jackson led the team to Back-to-Back SWAC Regular Season Championships in 2002-2003 and 2003-2004 in addition to winning her first Tournament Championship in 2003, which earned her a berth in the NCAA Tournament. As a high school coach, she produced the Loachapoka High School Girls Basketball Team’s first 1-A Girls State Championship title in 1998 and was named High School Girls Coach of the Year. A forward for the ASU Lady Hornets during her playing days, she made the 1984 All Southwestern Athletic Conference Team.

PHYSICIAN’S STATEMENT I hereby certify that I have examined the above named camper and found her physically fit to participate in The ASU Girls Basketball Camp, and I know of no impairments that would limit her participation in all activities in the camp.

REGISTRATION 

A $25 deposit is due with the application. Medical forms must also be submitted for each player.



Total cost is $125 per person - which includes the $25 deposit.



Take advantage of our “Early Bird” registration - $115. Must be paid in full by May 31, 2018.



NO PERSONAL CHECKS ACCEPTED AFTER MAY 31, 2018. Only cash, money orders and cashier checks made payable to Freda Freeman-Jackson will be accepted after that time.

PARENT’S STATEMENT I hereby authorize the director of The ASU Girl’s Basketball Camp to act in my place according to her best judgment in any emergency requiring medical attention. I hereby waive and release Freda Freeman-Jackson, the camp staff and Alabama State University from any and all liability for any injuries incurred by my child while at camp or arising out of travel to or from The ASU Girl’s Basketball Camp.
