15th April 2016 Dear Parents/Carers RECEPTION SCHOOL TRIP OVERVIEW As part of their topic this term, Reception Classes will be visiting Cattle Country, Gloucestershire, where the children will experience a “Talk, Walk & Tractor Ride” along with meeting the animals. Due to the large number of children in our Reception year group, we have decided to take each class separately. DETAILS The trip will take place on the following days, leaving school at 9.00am and returning at 3.00pm Friday 10th June 2016 – Wales Class Tuesday 14th June 2016 – Scotland Class Wednesday 15th June 2015 – England Class COSTS Whilst there is no formal charge, the trip can only take place if we receive sufficient contributions from parents. We are therefore requesting a contribution of £13.00 to cover the cost of this trip. Please complete and return the slip below to school by Friday 13th May 2016. Alternatively you can make your payment online by logging on to www.payyourschool.co.uk , using your unique reference number. Please note that in order for the trip to take place we require a high return of contributions, and we would be grateful if you would make your contribution by Friday 13th May 2016 at which point we will determine if we are able to run the trip. CLOTHING and FOOD Please provide children with the following items for the trip:  School jumpers must be worn. However, as the majority of the visit will be spent outside, please ensure your child is provided with a named hat and sun cream is applied before they come to school. You may send them with sun cream to re-apply during the day. They may also need a waterproof coat, depending on the weather and sensible shoes.  As your child is entitled to Universal Free School meals a packed lunch with a drink will be provided. If you wish to provide your own Packed Lunch, please indicate on the form below. HELP ON THE TRIP We may require some parent helpers should this trip take place. If you would like to offer help on this trip, please indicate on the slip below. Your child’s class teacher will contact you to confirm your place.
