Re: Whole School STEM Day
Dear Parent/Carer, On Wednesday 22nd June we will be having a STEM Day. All classes from Nursery to Year 6 will be taking on various STEM challenges. The challenges will involve pupils applying their knowledge of science, technology, engineering and mathematics to solve problems faced by those living in the developing world. We would appreciate it if you could support STEM Day by collecting modelling resources for the pupils to use in their work. Please clean and send any of the following items into school:
Small plastic bottles Plastic and polystyrene food trays Sheets of cardboard Cardboard tubes Food cartons Yoghurt pots Bubble wrap Newspapers Nets (used to package fruit)
The items should be given to your child’s teacher. Thank you in advance for making STEM Day an incredible educational experience for all our pupils. Yours sincerely
