The Double Twisted 1×1 Rib Stitch Description The Double Twisted 1×1 Rib Stitch is an interesting rib pattern using twisted stitches on both sides of the work to create a tightly braided rib texture. It is great substitute for the traditional 1×1 rib stitch and has an equal amount of horizontal stretch. This means it can be used anywhere you use ribbing.

Pattern Instructions Cast On: Multiples of 2 + 1 Row 1: *K1 tbl, p1; rep from * to last st, k1 tbl. Row 2: *P1 tbl, k1; rep from * to last st, p1 tbl. Repeat rows 1 – 2 until you have reached your desired length.
