The Lodge at Takoma Junction by The Ability Project Summary of Revisions to Original Proposal Revisions have been proposed in response to community input and to demonstrate flexibility and responsiveness to City and community input. These changes are intended as a next step in an inclusive and collaborative process, not as a final proposal. • Lower overall density to reduce traffic. • Residential and preschool uses deleted. • Proposed uses limited to Ability Project and TPSS Coop • Sharing Takoma Junction lot, plus Turner property. • Community open space at corner of Carroll and Sycamore Aves. • Parking provided for expanded Coop PLUS surrounding businesses. • Specific plan for continuity of Coop operations throughout construction • Innovative use of Columbia Ave. lot (“R‐60 lot”) for Anacostia Watershed protection and environmental education
