It’s hard to believe the swim season is almost over! All our swimmers continued their hard work with a very closely fought meet against Doublegate. Even though we lost the meet by a few points, we had a record number of speeding tickets for it. Congratulations to all our swimmers! We have one last dual meet scheduled for Tuesday, July 28th vs. Haynes Landing – The ASA divisionals and the end of season party are scheduled for Thursday, June 30th – more information can be found on our website. If you haven’t already done so, please RSVP for the end of season party.
Swimming 101 for Parents There are several swim clubs available in our area for parents who are interested in continuing with swim for their kids once the swim season is over. Here are a few of them: Dynamo Swim Club Swim Atlanta Lifetime Fitness

Coach Kaitlyn’s Corner Unfortunately, we lost to Doublegate last Thursday, but I'm so proud of everyone's hard work, determination, and spirit. We had a record number of speeding tickets at the meet for this season, and that is something to celebrate! As we head into the final week of the season, I'd like to thank you all for another great summer. Its truly been a joy to work with you and your children this season and the past few summers! I can't wait to see everyone swim at the ASA Divisional meet this Thursday! We have 41 swimmers attending, which is our biggest showing since 2010! Additionally, we have relays in 10 of the 12 age groups, and have many kids seeded first in the division :). Go Stingrays! Coach Kaitlyn

Swimmer Tip of the Week Make sure to tune in to the Olympic Trials this week on NBC for some very fast swimming! On Sunday, Jay Litherland, from Johns Creek, GA, beat out Ryan Lochte in the 400 IM to win a spot on the 2016 Olympic Team!! He used to swim at Dynamo Swim Club and now swims at the University of Georgia. Go Dawgs! :)
