The original construction was installed in 1999. The project in 2012 replaced the old VHAF® NottsSward sand filled surface with a like for like replacement due to the success of the original scheme. The existing Stone Envelope System® & dynamic base construction has proven to last the life of 2 carpets at sites throughout the UK providing customers with a system that can be reused rather than replaced and reduce the costs of refurbishment in comparison to other performance layers and shock-pads.
