The skills clinic will take place at the Cooper Clinic at Craig’s Ranch in

USA Cycling will be offering an on bike skills clinic for interested coaches and members. The goal of the clinic is to teach coaches how to teach skills. All participants will be expected to bring a bike and participate in the on bike drills. Mike Heitz will be the instructor for the clinic. Mike is a USAC Level 1 coach who teaches skills at the USA Cycling Development Camps and to groups around the country. The clinic will go over a variety of skills and include a manual for later use that includes information on setting up your own skills clinics for riders.

Skills Clinic $299 for USAC Coaches $399 for USAC members All participants must either have a USA Cycling RACING license or purchase one day licenses for each day of the clinic. License is NOT included in the clinic fee. Registration is available through your MYUSACYCLING account.

The Cooper Clinic’s café is closed on Sunday. Participants are on their own for lunch. 3pm

The clinic will not lead to a certification.

Requirements All particip ants must have a racing license. A coaching license is NOT a racing license. Participants who do not have an annual license must purchase one day licenses for each day ($10/ day). One day licenses can be purchased at the clinic. All particip ants are encouraged to bring a bike to practice the skills while learning how to teach them.
