OLD BUSINESS 1) Officer’s Reports and SCES Update Mark Groden, Chair o Pitch & Present – send out second notice on Wednesday, 10/26 eBlast o Congress & Elections Bylaw changes – change to the ASNE-SNAME Liaison position: duties change, sophomore status and has held a position Solicitation for elections o Student Summit – 6 groups on topics led by SSC officers Send invite to Executive Committee and Council Nicole Waters, Vice Chair o Design Competition Progress – UPDATE: Rules, Faculty Advisors Team New draft rules written Nicole can pick up supplies Faculty Advisor invites sent out – two Faculty Advisor’s Three phases: 1) towing device pulling vessel across the pool as quickly as possible BUT must carry four pounds; 2) something placed on bottom to restrict draft; 3) navigable ability – pole paced in the center of the pool, vessel needs to maneuver around the pool.
