Strawberry Social – Sunday, July 9th after the second service Supports the Emmaus Class Youth in Mission – 13 youth and 4 adults departed on July 2 for a mission trip to Pittsburgh. They are representing Summit church and Christ. Here is a message from Bobby Hull (one of the adults on this trip…) “We did a lot of different things yesterday. Some of us didn’t like the work and others loved it. We got hot sweaty sunburned some of us got lost on the way to work. Yesterday is behind us but the foundation has been poured on our relationship with God and our relationship with each other. I can see God’s love working on our young people and the adults alike. Our mission is to show the community God’s love through us. While doing our mission for God we are putting our trust and faith in him so he can do his mission on each of us. God’s mission is different for each of us because he knows what each of us needs right now in our lives. Talk to him like he is your best friend and love of your life to let him do his work through you and on you. This Week…July 9th After the I Do’s Forgiveness of our spouses or the one closest to us Colossians 3: 12-15
