The Selections These premium wines from Cantina Terlano represent the very finest from our best vineyards and perfectly express the superb characteristics of each variety of grape. The vinification of the selected grapes in barriques and large wooden casks yields wines displaying a fruity richness as well as considerable complexity and longevity.
Terlaner
Riserva
A noble blend of Pinot Blanc, Chardonnay and Sauvignon Blanc, named after Terlano‘s famed “Neuhaus” Castle. It displays a wide range of aromas, an interesting interplay of acidity and harmonious full-bodied flavor.
Sauvignon
As clear as the quartz crystals in the porphyry soil of Terlano, this voluminous Sauvignon presents a complex bouquet and an extremely mineralic and long lingering finish.
Gewürztraminer
The name for this select white wine was taken from the fresco of the „Madonna Seated on a Crescent Moon“ seen in the parish church of Terlano. It has a soft, full-bodied and harmonious structure topped off by the pleasantly spicy Traminer aroma.
Lagrein
Riserva
This wine is named after the volcanic rock which makes up the soil in this terroir on which our oldest vines are cultivated. It is characterized by a distinct berry aroma, a full, satiny and very long-lasting flavor as well as by a pronounced structure.
The Vineyards The harvesting of grapes from select zones in Terlano yields wines with a distinct character and pronounced suitability for lengthy storage. The grapes are pressed separately and allowed to mature in large wooden casks and in barriques.
Classico Terlaner Our historical cuvée, which has been made from the traditional Terlano grape varieties Pinot Bianco, Chardonnay and Sauvignon for the last 120 years, is a wine of great complexity.

Vorberg Riserva
This complex Pinot Blanc displays soft tannins and a long finish with notes of minerals and salts. It has defended its position as one of Terlano’s most ambitious wines.
Sauvignon
Winkl This elegant Sauvignon Blanc has been vinified at Terlano since 1956 and is characterized by an intense fruitiness, with balanced acidity and a dense structure.
Chardonnay
Kreuth This charming Chardonnay from the “Kreuth” vineyards displays a ripe aroma and a full-bodiedness typical for this variety of grape.
Lagrein
Gries Riserva
This indigenous variety of red wine presents an intense flavor with soft tannins and a pronounced fruitiness.
