You have so much.

Easy ways to make a big difference

Gifts that will mean so much:

With the help of the community, MUST makes Christmas a cherished event for those in need. Thanks to hundreds of volunteers and donations of in-kind gifts from individuals, companies and churches, last year 3,161 children benefitted from the MUST Toy Shops in Cobb and Cherokee.

Here’s how you can help: Drop off any new, UNWRAPPED items listed below to the MUST Donation Center located at 1280 Field Parkway, Marietta, GA 30066 or at the Cherokee Program Services location at 111 Brown Industrial Parkway, Canton, GA 30114. Please label the box of items “Toy Shop”:

toys/ stuffed animals/ puzzles games: board and electronic books, bikes, CD’s, dolls cameras, sports equipment socks, t-shirts, underwear hats, coats & gloves

 book bags throw blankets, electronics

Group Projects:

While the Toy Shop is getting set up and running, we need items daily. Just like a store, we run low or even out of items from time to time. Unlike a store that gets to order items, we stock our shelves with donated items. Please consider selecting one of the Off Site Projects for your group.

Stocking Stuffing

Take a pair of socks – place one sock into the other and push it to the bottom of the sock (that way the child will have a complete pair of socks). Place small items within the sock (hygiene items, small toys, nail polish, playing cards, and toothbrush). Tie the top with a ribbon (red for girls, green for boys); please follow our breakdown of ages and mark the box or bag these items are delivered in. 0–4 / 5–8 / 9–12 / 13–18. Please NO candy or razors in the stockings. We like to offer each child of our 3100 children a stocking. We need as many groups as possible to make stockings for us.

Christmas is for all Ages

Many moms have multiple children and MUST would like something for everyone under the tree. Two age groups often overlooked are babies and tween/teens.

Think outside of the (gift) box! • Send a Christmas card to your customers and let them know that instead of the traditional fruit and cheese gift basket, you made a contribution in their name to MUST Ministries. Generate excitement with an office raffle • Countdown to Christmas with a holiday raffle and donate a portion of the proceeds to MUST. Imagine what can be raised for MUST by giving away a Kindle, IPAD, spa treatment or night on the town. Make A Donation. • Please consider a year-end financial contribution. This is also a great time to sign up for monthly giving! We accept contributions in the form of cash, checks, and credit cards. Please visit our website: www.mustministries.org and click on DONATE. Thank you for your support! Shop for your loved ones through AmazonSmile • When you shop at www.smile.amazon.com, a portion of your purchase is donated to your favorite charitable organization. Be sure to select MUST Ministries! Set up a giving tree • Have your organization set up a giving tree and share the gift of Christmas with those in need. This has been an especially busy year at MUST Ministries as the demands on our services have grown significantly. Last year we served 30,000 distinct individuals through our:

Emergency Homeless Shelter Food Pantries Employment Services Veteran & Supportive Housing

Loaves and Fishes Kitchen MUST Marketplace Summer Lunch program Toy Shops

MUST Ministries: P.O. Box 1717 | Marietta, GA 30061 As the year closes, you may also consider a gift of stock. If the gift has appreciated, you can deduct the shares’ fair market value and avoid income tax on the capital gain. Consult your tax advisor to see if this option is the right choice for you. MUST is equipped to handle this conveniently for you. MUST is a 501(c)3 organization.
