ANNOUNCEMENTS • 9/11/17 Dress in Red, White, and Blue. • 9/12/17 At 6PM Join us for Report to the Public in the NW Cafeteria. • 9/20/17 School Pictures • 9/25/17 No School- Parent Teacher Conferences from 12 to 6. • Check and return your student’s Green Folder nightly. • Please be mindful that there are peanut and nut allergies at school. • Tuesdays Third Graders will have GT. • Please keep all personal belongings, purses, toys, fidget spinners, and etc. at home they are distracting to our learning during the day.

At home try out this word problem: Sam saved $398 over the course of ten years. Write the amount that he saved in expanded and word form. Math Answers 300+90+8 is expanded form. Word form is three hundred ninety- eight. 27,382 is the unscrambled number in standard form. Expanded form is 20,000 + 7,000 + 300 + 80 + 2
