The comedy of Sunil Grover never disappointed the viewers.

At times, even the hardcore fans of ‘The Kapil Sharma Show’ got disappointed with the monotony of the show. It was the versatile performance by Sunil Grover that actually managed to glue the audience to their TV screens. Grover proved time and again that he is the king of comedy.

Kapil Sharma uses punches to make people laugh.

The comic timings of Kapil Sharma are perfect but he seems to be more comfortable in his own skin. He cracks some real good jokes and makes us laugh hard but the body language of Kapil Sharma is not as impressive as Sunil Grover.

As the name suggests, the Kapil Sharma Show is not a one man show.

While Kapil uses punches to make audience laugh, the body language of Sunil Grover is enough to make his fans grin. The characters played by Sunil Grover were damn impressive and never failed to leave an impact on the audience.

While the performance of Kapil Sharma is scripted, Sunil Grover improvises on stage itself.

Kapil Sharma always makes entry on show with a bang. He greets audience and Sidhu Paaji and gives funny punches to make the audience laugh hard. But his performances are always based on script and lacks novelty.

On the other hand, Sunil Grover seems to be a real time actor.

Grover’s role as Gutthi stood out amongst the cast in terms of dressing, expressions and acting. Sunil Grover is a versatile actor who loves experimenting on his roles. Whether Doctor Gulati or Gutthi, he always managed to bring laughing tears in eyes of the audience. The poem narrated by Gutthi and Palak on stage for the stars is memorized by fans around the country.

Kapil Sharma hardly experimented with his characters.

I feel Kapil is more comfortable in his role of anchoring and interviewing the stars. While Kapil’s punches were good enough to make the audience laugh, he failed to maintain variety in his characters. It is really fun to see Kapil Sharma joking and flirting with beautiful actresses. But it would have been much better if he appeared in various characters and entertained us.

Kapil Sharma makes us blush but Sunil Grover is a laugh riot.

Sunil Grover added epic stuff to the show. I agree that Kapil Sharma made a path breaking comedy show by inviting various Bollywood stars to promote their movies with him. But somehow, Grover’s comedy managed to grab the attention of viewers and stars towards him. He loves experimenting with his characters and also claims that the character of Gutthi is created by him. Sunil Grover has depicted more characters such as Gutthi, Doctor Gulati, Rinku bhabhi etc. Grover is not just a comic actor with perfect timing. He proved his versatility by playing serious roles in the movies like Gabbar is Back, Vaisakhi List etc.

Kapil Sharma earned famed by winning the reality show 'The Great Indian Laughter Challenge' in 2007.

Later, he participated in Comedy Circus and hosted several shows such as Jhalak Dikhhla Jaa season 6, Chhote Miyan etc. In 2013, Kapil Sharma started his own show ‘Comedy Nights With Kapil’ on Colors channel. Due to several reasons, his show went off air and Kapil launched another show ‘The Kapil Sharma Show’ on Sony television. Kapil Sharma is an excellent stand-up comedian and humorous television presenter but he is not as versatile as Sunil Grover.

Do you remember the famous character Sudarshan aka Sud on Radio Mirchi's Hansi Ke Phuware?

Yes, it was Sunil Grover who made us laugh with his jokes and unique style of narrating them on the radio. Sunil Grover rose to stardom from an SRK copycat to the Kapil Sharma show. Do you remember the show ‘Kya Aap Paanchvi Fail Champu Hain?’ Grover managed to tickle our funny bone by imitating SRK in 2008. Later, he became a standup comedian and now this versatile actor is the star of the Kapil Sharma show.

The Kapil Sharma Show holds a very special place in our hearts.

The show can never be complete without the presence of our very own Kapil Sharma and talented Sunil Grover. Besides these two stars, the entire cast of Kapil Sharma show including Ali Asgar, Kiku Sharda, Sumona Chakravarti, Chandan Prabhakar, Navjot Singh Sidhu and Rochelle Rao contributed in making the show entertaining.

We are desperately waiting to watch the next season of the Kapil Sharma show.
