THOMAS BEWICK CAMPUS 14th September 2015 PE KITS A big ‘thank you’ to all of the parents who have ensured their child has a PE kit in school. However in the past week we have had a small number of children in every class without PE kits. This inevitably means that time is wasted in the lesson. If you are having difficulty in providing a PE kit for your child, please let the campus know and we may be able to help. This terms PE lessons are planned to take place on the following days: MONDAY - Yr 6 Rugby Coaching (trainers may be worn) TUESDAY - Year 1 and Year 2 WEDNESDAY – Year 4 THURSDAY – Year 3 and Year 5 Reception children’s PE may take place at any time. PE days may change at any time for all classes.
NEWSLETTER There will be a PTA meeting on Wednesday 16th September at 3.00pm. If you are able to help with any events on campus please come along.
LATENESS We have a number of children coming into school late each morning. Registration takes place at 8.45am with lessons beginning promptly at 8.55am. If your child is late they are missing the introduction to their learning for the day. Please make a special effort to make sure that your child is on time. Persistent lateness will be referred to the Education Welfare Officer.
LIBRARY This year we will continue our after school library sessions where parents are invited to help their child to select a book. The times are as follows; Reception & Key Stage 1 Tuesdays 3.05pm Key Stage 2
Thursday 3.05pm
Please wait with your child in the yard until all classes have left before entering the building. This avoids overcrowding at the main entrance.
