Additional EVACUATIONS have been issued for the Thomas Fire in the following areas of Ventura County. VENTURA COUNTY Effective immediately the following areas are under Mandatory Evacuations: o West of Hwy 33, North of West El Roblar Dr
Definitions Mandatory Evacuation: Issued when conditions exist that SERIOUSLY IMPERIL or ENDANGER the lives of those in the defined area. The danger is IMMINENT. Voluntary Evacuation: Issued when the potential for rapidly changing conditions may develop into a serious threat, but the threat is NOT YET IMMINENT. Residents are advised to prepare for the issuance of a Mandatory Evacuation.
